Amanda Nicole Rossi

Amanda is a born and raised Southern California barber, hairstylist, and makeup artist residing in the Conejo Valley. Her love for the industry started as a young girl watching TLC’s What Not to Wear, and other makeover shows giving people major overhauls with their wardrobe, hair, and makeup. She naturally grew a talent to envisioning new looks for people that would bring out their natural good looks. Her interest in the industry grew when she was a teenager at the start of the YouTube Makeup Guru scene, watching artist tutorials and applying the techniques on herself and friends for various events and special occasions.

Her older sister attended cosmetology school at the beginning of her high school years, and naturally Amanda became her main “guinea pig” to practice on. It was through her sisters brief stint with cosmetology that encouraged Amanda to want to pursue the beauty industry fully as a career. Amanda attended Academy for Salon Professionals in 2012-2013, where she learned most of her craft. Over the course of 12 years Amanda would continue to further improve and refine her skills through various online and in person education. As well as attending Western Barber Institute in the Summer of 2025 to complete a Barber Crossover program and attaining her barber license in addition to her cosmetology license.

She is known for her meticulous and extremely detail oriented work. She is an artist who craves versatility, therefore she is one of very few hairdressers that doesn’t specialize in a specific area of work, instead she is always persistent in pursuing new knowledge to further expand her skillset and broaden her range. Learning new and different things is what keeps Amanda excited and happy in this industry. She also has experience in the performance and photography genres, providing hair and makeup at a master level for special occasions, photoshoots, and performances.

Amanda is an avid animal lover and enjoys being in nature, going on hikes and enjoying the beach. She is a mom to a senior Chihuahua named Venice, and they enjoy walks together at many of the local parks and trails. She enjoys traveling with friends and family, exploring new places locally and far away. Amanda also has a deep love for motorcycles, partly from growing up around one with her step dad, as well as her dating life, and plans to hopefully soon learn how to ride herself.
